About your role:
A person hired at this position (at all levels of seniority) will develop, implement, and test Java-based web applications and interfaces using industry sector standard software development practices, techniques, tools, and frameworks. The purpose of this position is to improve ergonomics of the user performance, increase automation and improve application monitoring.

As a Java developer, you should have at least 3 years of work experience with software development. You are involved in various development projects and together with colleagues, you develop custom systems that support digital transformation with the right applications and infrastructures. Agile or DevOps are often used within these projects. You also spar with fellow Java developers in our client’s Java Professionals Group.

You will use your specific professional knowledge for different clients, so that the work remains nice and varied. Together with you, your manager feels responsible for your development and the projects in which you can participate. This also means that you always have a fixed and trusted point of contact if, for example, you want to discuss how you can best organize your work and further career opportunities to invest in personal development so that everyone can continue to develop.

You will implement business requirements, define architecture, write documentation, implement, and maintain applications based on Java and front-end in Angular, participate in IT infrastructure system maintenance, and development, design and implement applications with, e.g.: Java, Angular, REST Web Services, Spring/Spring Boot,
cooperate with DevOps teams.
Estimated distribution of working hours:

  • 80% design and software development
  • 10% maintenance
  • 10% testing


Your profile:

  • As a Java developer, you should have at least 3 years of work experience with software development
  • You have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in computer science
  • You have a good experience with Java front-end and/or back-end development, preferably familiar with Angular
  • You have practical experience with Java technology and technical knowledge of system implementation based on Java technology
  • Hands-on experience with or practical knowledge of Java/JEE, Spring; front-end-technology, e.g. Angular; application servers; integration products, e.g. GIT,TFS, JIRA, Confluence and Docker
  • Knowledge of SOA patterns will be a desired advantage
  • You have a good command of English, both written and spoken
  • You are a stress-resistant, flexible, autonomous worker
